 My thoughts on Job.

I maybe shouldn't have but I had to laugh when God finally got tired of Job's friends chastising Job, and tired of Job's piti-party, I guess,  and I think He got angry and started saying, where were you when I did .. this or that.. and went on for almost 4 chapters! LOL.  Poor Job says,  behold I am vile! I love reading the book of Job! LOL   You should start reading at Chap.38.. lol

Browsing Through the Bible

 Good morning everyone! Been a long time but I will be here much more, now that I'm no longer recording my gaming. Through the years I have read through the Bible so many times,  then I started choosing different themes, or just a collection of similar books  to  study.  Right now I have picked out  the several writings of John to study. Until I started searching for what I wanted to study, I had not realized that Paul had written most of the books of the N.T.!  I've got those all listed in a group in a notebook to start on. But right now I'm going to concentrate on John. There is the Gospel of John,  the 1st-2nd-3rd Epistles of John,  then Revelation.  I think these will be interesting to study.  Although I have done this with Revelation many times.  (I must admit that Revelation gets easier to understand each time. :)   ) I'm really anxious to see  the structure or any comparisons  in the writings of John....

Saul, Who Was Re-named Paul

In the Book of Acts you will find Saul's story, which I'm reading now.  Acts 8:1-3;  9:1-31 Saul was a Pharisee who believed in God.   But as so many at that time, he did not believe in the man, Jesus, and he persecuted those who preached in His name. God found worth in him and eventually struck him blind and talked to him.  The men traveling with Saul,  saw him struck blind...  a light shinning around him.. and a voice talking to him. Later, Saul was sent to someone to heal him and get him acquainted with the Gospel teachings about Jesus. Saul was transformed into a powerful Apostle who preached the Gospel about Jesus and planted churches across the Roman world! My reason for posting about this,  though,  is strictly personal,  although I hope you will read the scriptures which I listed. I remember about his name being changed from Saul to Paul,  but for the life of me I can't find where that happened!  I used to know but...
